Abuko Nature Reserve is een mooi natuurpark, je wandelt op het wandelpad en het is net of je echt in de ongerepte jungle bent.
Er is een krokodilepool (maar met wilde niet gevoederde krokodillen), apen, enkele hyena’s in kooien, schildpadden en honderden verschillende vogels.
Op de weg tussen Abuko en Serrekunda treft U de veemarkt aan, plaatselijk de "Cattle Market" genaamd.
Er worden schapen, geiten, pluimvee maar ook koeien verhandeld, op zich een hele belevenis. Naast de markt is een slachthuis, met daar direct achter een plaats voor de kadavers, de feesttafel voor de vele gieren.

There is a crocodile pool (but with wild, not fed crocodiles), monkeys, some hyenas in cages, turtles and hundreds of different birds.
On the road between Abuko and Serrekunda find you the "Cattle Market" itself an experience.
There are sheep, goats, poultry and cows. Next to the market is a slaughterhouse, directly behind a place for the carcasses, the feast table for the many vultures.
